Pros
You repair various surgical instruments, laser mark/etch these instruments and sometimes repair case carts. Interacting with various hospital staffs from OR/SPD managers to SPD and surgical techs. Good team members and support from account managers (sales). Some travel-you can earn reward points for hotels. Company truck provided. Company credit card (don't abuse it or you will get fired.) Wireless reinbursement. Bonus structure similar to commission. Hourly pay. You will do service reports along with being responsible for vehicle maintenance, sales business reviews, scheduling service, Training junior repair specialists and technicians and participating in business review meetings with sales.
Cons
Bad managment. Good manager passed away and was replaced by a guy who came into Steris for 6 months. He treated people poorly. People in a territory quit within 32 days at one point. Turnover was getting worse because of bad management. Being blamed for stuff outside of your control. Last year at Steris with this guy was one of the worst experiences at Steris.
