They work mostly on grant projects, no private consulting experience is there. Each kind of project is the same, so even though you get first hand exposure, it is not diverse.
Peer learning is next to zero. The 2 'managers' choose their favourite consultants and mentor them only. The CEO tries to mentor new talent but his time is limited. Even when 1-2 private projects do come, those 'favourite' kids get to do all the work.
The team is too small and when favouritism happens, you kinda start feeling lonely.
The office is dull and depressing, with ample parking issues.
The management is old and are not hoping to expand the business.
