      You get money to do research. It's the best kind of postdoc because there's no teaching you can just publish from your diss and start a new project.

      Cons

      There is no additional funding for research costs or travel, so pick a well-funded dept or centre that will have internal funding for you.

      Pay is decent. That is all. Only writing this because I need to fill the characters.

      Toxic work environment. Lack of training and resources. Staff and management provides 0 support and help.
