Pros
Good people (founders excluded), good pay, decent benefits.
Cons
I strongly suggest you read the reviews here carefully before accepting an offer to work at Sheertex (or SRTX as they’ve recently rebranded). Notice how suspicious the fluff reviews here are, how non specific, short and purposefully dismissive of the rampant complaints. All citing “fast paced environment” as the cause that many ex employees were fired or quit in a matter of months. This is thinly veiled contempt for these ex employees. This is the excuse that the founders often give for the massive amounts of turnover. Or simply put, these people couldn’t cut it. Truth is, they manage to attract top people with top shelf resumes, who’ve known intense pressure, and also the success of overcoming it. So the story that they couldn’t handle it just doesn’t hold up. In my own experience, which is eerily similar to many senior people I’ve spoken to, isn’t so much the pressure at Sheertex that makes it unbearable, it’s the gaslighting, micro management, and just inexplicable disrespect for outside expertise. The CEO, despite having very little experience outside her company, refuses to accept opposing views, and labels those who disagree “divergent”, as she campaigns to have you fired. Or worse, screams at you behind a closed door telling you you don’t understand how the company works. Ask any former executive or manager. The similarity of their horror stories will shock you. They sell us big ambitions, dreams, and green washed non sense to come here, but when you start, you will quickly notice the eeriness and emptiness of these promises, as the pressure to simply cut whatever corner you need to cut to just “get it done”, putting company gain above all values, and to never complain unless you wanna be seen as weak. It’s literally against company values to complain. They call it being “resilient”. Long story short, don’t do it. It’ll cost you your confidence, time, and sanity.
