People are kind when they reply and will eventually give you the details that you are asking, Tasks are usually quite clear and refining them happens usually fast
Cons
Code is not being reused in many places, each developer is addressing certain transversal things as they each please Code reviews are pure text review, no one is getting and compiling your branch, no automated build to detect compiling errors, no unit tests being added by devs. This means that each deploy produces many new bugs. Dont expect technical replies to your technical questions and if they happen they can take many days or even weeks
