Pros

There are Zero Pros about working for SRS Distribution, they hired me because I worked for 2 other Roofing Distributors (for 10 years) and used me to open up over 20 new accounts and used me for my relationships with customers. Then would do really shady things, like taking customers out of your name and not telling you about it. to give them to who they favored. All they do is buy companies and liquidate all the good employees so they can turn around and resell the company with a very low paid inexperienced sales team.

Cons

Upper management is the worst and runs the sales department like it was some 1980's boiler room and doesn't understand that selling roofing is a relationship business and not treated like if you miss a month budget you are fired! It is running off favoritism and treats other sales reps unfairly. This company is not being ran for the future but only to show enough profit by cutting good employees so they can sell it to some unlucky buyer. So don't be fooled with all the fancy commercials about how great this place is, because it's NOT!

Pros

The building is nice. Fridays are remote days.

Cons

The environment is call center! 2 people are delegated on certain days to answer the phones everyday! No cubicles, open floor call center environment. This is NOT full cycle Ap. Issues with invoices, po’s, remits etc are streamlined through a ticketing system. Training is 2 weeks+ ALOT of information alot of analytical processing for very low compensation. Be prepared for management to have your peers to tell you what to do instead of it coming from her (creating a toxic environment).
