Pros

Depending on your location, you can learn a lot about sales, operations, inventory management, etc. Big emphasis on location depending so actually take a big interest in your interview with BMs when choosing your branch to work at. Since changing to a hourly rate, paychecks are nice. But, overall the opportunity is what you make of it. You can have great leaders that really care about you and guide you well in the company. If you have bad ones, you really need to dig in and decide if this is the company you want to work for.

Cons

Another aspect that is location dependent, but expect long hours. It was told to me the company was sued years back for working MITs into the ground while on a low salary so they had to change MITs to an hourly rate. Some BMs will be awesome and welcoming, while others are pompous d-bags that are seen as great by the company suits because they run a successful branch. Very much a good ol boy company.

Pros

The building is nice. Fridays are remote days.

Cons

The environment is call center! 2 people are delegated on certain days to answer the phones everyday! No cubicles, open floor call center environment. This is NOT full cycle Ap. Issues with invoices, po’s, remits etc are streamlined through a ticketing system. Training is 2 weeks+ ALOT of information alot of analytical processing for very low compensation. Be prepared for management to have your peers to tell you what to do instead of it coming from her (creating a toxic environment).
