Pros

Always known for a great community and culture, focusing on bikes bikes bikes, and we're always working on ensuring a good work/life balance.

Cons

As a company, SRAM has grown very quickly and has lost its way a bit, focusing more on the bottom line and less on the people. It's been a focus, and I think we'll trend positively.

Pros

In general, SRAM is very easy going and it's an environment that isn't confrontational or competitive. Leadership is focused on employees and is very approachable. I feel a lot of security in my job and that I'd have a job here forever if I choose to stay. There's a lot of professional autonomy.

Cons

For being a larger company, there's no structure for teaching employees how to do a job or process. They are trying to create some structure, but most processes are half-baked and not detailed enough to actually do it correctly. Leadership is really nice, but is lacking the "leadership" qualities that facilitate departments sharing information, best practices and growth. If I want to grow and learn, I need to seek out my own training.
