Pros

Overall culture is really positive and conducive to a good work environment. Location is awesome and there has been recent investment in facilities

Cons

Pay and benefits are definitely not as competitive as some industries, the strong bike culture can also foster some eliteism and bro-culture which can make the environment feel uncomfortable for newcomers or outsiders that aren't obsessed with bikes

Pros

In general, SRAM is very easy going and it's an environment that isn't confrontational or competitive. Leadership is focused on employees and is very approachable. I feel a lot of security in my job and that I'd have a job here forever if I choose to stay. There's a lot of professional autonomy.

Cons

For being a larger company, there's no structure for teaching employees how to do a job or process. They are trying to create some structure, but most processes are half-baked and not detailed enough to actually do it correctly. Leadership is really nice, but is lacking the "leadership" qualities that facilitate departments sharing information, best practices and growth. If I want to grow and learn, I need to seek out my own training.
