Pros
Free lunch once a week. Fairly relaxed environment. If you show dedication and garner some respect, you can get away with arriving up to five minutes late and/or wearing relaxed business attire. Ping pong is a required breaktime activity.
Cons
Management is terrible. I was promised raises and promotions on multiple occasions, which put me in an awkward position of always being a transitional role. Other employees were often reprimanded for showing up as little as one minute late, or not being in completely pristine professional business attire. One of the managers was very unprofessional, and would often joke about and mock people who weren't present, even divulging private information about interviews (I discovered this when he openly discussed details of an interview, expressing his distaste with and making fun of the person he had interviewed, who just so happened to be a close friend of mine, something he probably didn't know). They make a big deal about how much they pay their employees, when in reality they only pay slightly more than minimum wage. They promised me quick raises, but after months of working for them, they refused all requests for a raise. The CEO is a generally nice guy, but does not do enough managing to be effective. He leaves that to his managing staff, who are generally unprofessional and completely disrespectful to the average employees. The high turnover rate means you're constantly adjusting to new coworkers, and the horrendously simple interview process means possibly getting stuck with someone who has literally no idea what he or she is doing (one of my teammates didn't even know how to use Microsoft Office).
