      Pros

      They pay pretty well for the type of work and the experience or educational requirements. The Union is ridiculous and perpetrates the Us vs. Them mentality.

      Cons

      The Union is ridiculous and perpetrates the Us vs. Them mentality. SPX is a case study for Management gets the Union they deserve. The predecessor to SPX, Waukesha Transformer, treated employees so poorly that the employees voted to unionize at a time when unions were dying. Even Wal Mart employees rejected a union. The current management, as of 2018, are not necessarily bad people, just not leaders. Everything is reactive and just going through the motions. Lots of egos.

      Can be a bit chaotic because of the growth, but it is managed well.
