Pros
The directors and some managers have a vision of improving and developing the manufacturing processes, as well as, implementing environmental benefits to their products. The idea of improvement is well spoken of and acknowledged throughout the company and within the teams.
Cons
Many of their manufacturing plants have been running for decades and have old processes still in place. With the volume of production, it can be hard to implement lean processes when the time is limited to get everyone on board and execute.
