Pros

Well-established and connected in the industry Friendly co-workers who you can trust Regional reach up and down CA

Cons

Mediocre compensation Owners will step over a dollar to pick up a dime Benefits premiums are high and retirement plan is poor Per diem rates are absurdly low for California A lot of family relations throughout the company (brothers, cousins, uncles, sons, daughters) makes for a difficult professional environment Too focused on the present, no long-term outlook Owners are simply in it for the golf and travel Stories of one of the owners reviewing staff emails abound>> definitely a place where it is unfavorable to stray outside the lines with new ideas or a challenge to the status quo-- very much "my way or the highway".

Pros

Spinitar encourages a positive work/life balance with competitive pay, good benefits, and a variety of incentive programs. They are a provider of world-class solutions and services since 1986 and they offer their employees a number of opportunities to be recognized & rewarded for a job well done! Great place to work!

Cons

I can’t think of any cons!

Pros

Spinitar has a lot of great people and the two owners seem like they really care about their people. Depending on your role, there’s a lot of flexibility as long as you get your job done. The benefits are good. There’s a chance to attend Chairman’s Club every year which involves a several day all expenses paid vacation with other employees to somewhere like Jamaica. It has a small company feel so it’s easy to talk to whoever you need to.

Cons

The team concept does not work well. It causes people to become overworked. It also sometimes prevents customers from being attended to in a timely manner. There are no bosses in the company promoting a lack of accountability. No one knows who they report to ultimately pushing everything up to the owners. This lack of accountability causes tension between employees. It also creates a culture of distrust and instead of having accountability processes, “speed bump” processes are implemented instead requiring approvals from several middle management roles before something can get done. This creates extra work and delays. Also, processes get implemented without properly qualifying them with key team members. Way too often has a process got cancelled shortly after it was implemented for this reason.
