      Pros

      A great team, where everyone has the same goal. Systems are being put into place to streamline processes and make it easier to manage workload for staff to be able to work more efficiently to be able to provide the best support and play a key part in the improvement of working animal welfare. Many employee benefits, and supportive line management who encourage a work life balance and are always available to offer help whenever needed, especially during challenging, and busy times throughout the year.

      Cons

      Streamlining processes to improve outputs, especially with historical discrepancies is a long process, and there is not an overnight solution.

      A strong foundation of expertise with unique market positioning. Mission driven, dedicated, and passionate staff. The current strategy positions the organisation to transition into an increasingly innovative organisation that will deliver lasting improvements to the lives of working animals.

      Cons

      Business practices in place under the last CEO present ongoing challenges to efficiencies. The current senior leadership is working to modernise and establish new systems to help advance the current strategy and improve efficiencies and effectiveness.

      Interesting work and well paid for the sector

      Cons

      Awful working environment everything had to be agreed with the CEO and was micromanaged - none of the systems and processes worked - staff really unhappy with the toxic working environment
