Pros
It is a great learning experience. You deal with accounting, operations, client management, facility maintenance, workforce management, customer service, and so much more. I really enjoyed becoming specialized in each area throughout the years.
Cons
Upper management has high expectations without the added pay. The workload can be overwhelming and out of your paygrade at many times. There is also a lack of organization within the management team. At times, I felt penny pinching was more important than providing good service.
