OK - Interior Designer SOSHNY Employee Review

Good people and learned a lot the brief time I was there.

Upper management was a bit intense.

There is nothing positive about this company

Over the past couple months my time at SOSH NY has been nothing but a toxic work environment filled with harassment, bullying, and the egotistical power rampages the Principal makes a recurring event. I have never been spoken to the way the principal would speak to me. I was never given the proper tools for it to ever be a possibility to be successful part of the team. I was continuously set up for failure. Not to mention  was hired under so many lies i.e: 1. Size of company 2. Revit based projects 3. Raise at the end of 90 days 4. Inaccurate salary based on no pay for holidays 5. No growth opportunities I was discriminated against and I was rarely referred to by my actual name, but by girl, or “whatever her name is” or a completely wrong name. It is made very difficult to stay here to work for a dysfunctional company with no standards set in place to work efficiently, one adobe license to share for the entire office and PowerPoint presentations for boards since no one knows indesign in the office. It is true, you will be lucky to make it 90 days or until you want to quit from the emotional trauma.
