Pros

You get a paycheck for putting your time in. Some of the frontline engineers are nice.

Cons

The benefits are terrible. It wouldn't be bad if management didn't say that they were industry standard. The worst part is the hypocrisy, if you're in senior management the rules don't apply. There was talk of an employee ownership program when hired on and that was the last of it. The management is opaque on their decision making and does not have a long-term strategy other than jumping at any opportunity presented - even if they don't have the skills to succeed there.

SOLUTE Response

Well, we actually have quite a robust strategic plan. We are winning more and more complex work, which is quite exciting. Many of our contracts we compete against Fortune 500 business and win. So, things are going quite well. Some of the same people have posted here several times. I think the true mark of a good company is not about the bitter people that leave, but more about the quality of the people that stay and build the organization. We have a great workforce that does great work everyday. Every sharp, hard working person that has ever joined seems to be quite happy at SOLUTE. Kind regards, John (CEO)
