Pros
1. Other lab analysts and lower level staff very nice, easy to get along with. 2. Get to build experience/comfort on (some, usually limited number) of instruments
Cons
1. There is no room for internal growth, and current employees are not a priority for the company. 2. They will make every excuse to postpone annual conversations about raises, reviews, and bonuses. You are not welcome to introduce these conversations with your managers before the big bosses decide it is okay. 3. Most people working here while I was working at SMRTL are very unhappy, and looking for other jobs. 4. Two managers working in different areas/departments mistreat lower staff. Upper management knows about it. Nothing has ever been resolved. I can't post the details of the bullying here because it violates guidelines.
