SMB Team Response

Thank you VERY much for your review! First of all, we never had a "Sales Executive" in Bala Cynwyd, PA that worked with us for under 1 year. So, as we look into whether this review is real, I will respond to the points made. Point 1: No Support / Training for Team I’m not sure how to convey this politely, but this is false. We invest a lot into training and supporting our team. For example, we have an internal sales training, marketing training and management training university for our internal team and clients. We have over 1000 “how to” videos and an entire online procedure database for every single process in our company. Perhaps, how fast we move as a company is being misinterpreted as “no support / training”. Due to the speed in which we operate, sometimes we won’t have time to hold your hand and walk you through every single procedure, step-by-step. If you’re looking for 24/7 hand-holding, we’re not your company. We don’t like micromanagement. We move FAST, hence why we have grown (and continue to grow) so quickly as a company. This growth provides our most committed team members unlimited promotional opportunities. We’ve had people join our company at an entry level position, and become in charge of a department in under 90 days. Lastly, we hire people who tell US what to do...not the other way around. If you have more experience than we do in something, why would we force you to follow OUR processes? If you know more than us about something, you create the training and the system. We’ll listen and adapt to YOUR expertise. Point 2: Constant Changes in What We Sell/ Packages This statement is true. We ARE constantly changing, optimizing and improving our products to better fit consumer needs. We’re not some company that sells the same thing year-after-year. We are CONSTANTLY innovating. CONSTANTLY looking around corners. CONSTANTLY surveying our clients to find what unserved needs of theirs we can help with. CONSTANTLY designing new and better solutions that produce the best possible results for our clients. We don’t make cookie-cutter products that never change. That’s not us. We don’t care about what’s profitable for us (like most other agencies). We care about what has the biggest positive impact on our clients' businesses. And, we won’t stop innovating. Ever. Point 3: Mediocre Digital and “Coaching” Similar to point 1, this point is false. It also seems whoever wrote this review had a hard time finishing sentences. “Mediocre digital” what? SMB Team offers the best of the best marketing management and coaching programs for law firms doing under $5M/yr in revenue. Better than me talking us up, go on Google and type in “SMB Team Reviews”. There, you can read 150+ written 5-star reviews of our services on our Google profile and other online profiles. This doesn’t include the 50+ video testimonials we have received just in the past year. Go on our YouTube channel. Watch them. Read the reviews. Watch the videos. They are life-changing! I can’t make this up. At the time of this writing, 16 of our 80 firms we coach doubled their revenues in under 12 months! That is something we are very proud of. Also with the average client quadrupling their money with our marketing services over the course of 1 year, we know the impact we’re having. I believe this last point was merely an opinion that you wrote in a state of frustration. Point 4: No Direction I can’t even comment on this piece of feedback. Our entire company runs on clear annual plans, with a clear and documented 3 year vision and quarterly goals assigned to each person, department and the company as a whole. If there’s one thing we’re abundant on, it’s direction. Point 5: Cult-Like Atmosphere A cult is a group of people with shared beliefs. A culture is a group of people with shared beliefs. The word cult is included in the word CultURE. If you read our other reviews on Glassdoor, you’ll see we do have a VERY STRONG culture. Our culture is probably our biggest differentiator. It is what makes SMB Team such an amazing place to work (for the right people).

Pros

The morning huddles help build morale and no other company I’ve worked for makes it a point to appreciate others. We not only hear how our work is positively impacting clients but also how as co-workers we are enabling the success of others.

Cons

It’s a growing and iterative company which might not be the best fit for some - yet the leadership team is responsive to feedback on how changes are impacting the team and willing to pivot
