Pros

- SM Entertainment boasts and extensive roster, which allows for plenty of opportunities to get hands on experience in a variety of projects in a short amount of time - With the globalization of K-Pop, there has been an even greater opportunity than before to work with artists and other companies abroad to expand your network globally - SM Entertainment has a set, organized way of going through with projects which provides more structure in comparison with many other entertainment companies in Korea

Cons

- There are areas in the company with poor management, which makes all aspects of working difficult. These managers also make inter team cooperation almost impossible, as they lack communication skills - Very few opportunities to advance within the company - The music industry is truly 24/7 -Turnover rate is extremely high for employees

Pros

SM Entertainment is a creative juggernaut in the music industry. After 30+ years of musical and visual innovation that have launched numerous K-Pop acts into domestic, regional, and global stardom while simultaneously contributing greatly to the "HallyU"/Korean cultural global wave, SM continues to shine creatively through its musical and audiovisual works. The team members are dedicated, the artists are deeply committed to their craft, and the company as a whole is pushing for the continued market share expansion of K-Pop and Korean cultural contents worldwide.

Cons

The company needs to adopt a global mindset with respect to its ongoing international expansion strategy. In order to do this, it must be willing to sacrifice some of its Korean standards in terms of music sound, music marketing strategy, and business practices in order to fit local markets around the world better.
