great diversity in the work force and there are people from all over the world. most coworkers are easy going and respectful. generally good work-life balance, but it depends on the product line. opportunities to travel around the world. lots of training for employees to choose from.
Cons
management moves positions too frequently, as a result, lots of projects thrown in the dumpster after people leave. oil industry has ups and downs every couple of years. lacks agility and requires lots of approvals, people need to jump through hoops to get things done. salary is not as competitive as tech companies. promotions are hard to get.
