Pros
Great employees work there, they are the glue that holds everything together.
Cons
On my first day I was told two things: 1) Don't disagree with and get on the bad side of Sr. Management and assistant, otherwise you are out - they have an easy time firing women. 2) Don't wear jeans, the guys are allowed to, but not you. Sr. Management has no clue what they wants, won't admit it - you have to go through trial and error and look incompetent in their eyes. Sr. Management does not care about employees - if there is to be a company day off that falls around a holiday, they will leave it to the last minute to inform the employees about it - making travel costs expensive for those employees who have family outside the state. They don't tell you during the hiring period that some years the company shuts down for a week or two, forcing employees to take unpaid leave - and that's decided and shared last minute as well.
