Pros
If you enjoy helping others and working with both adults (parents) and young children. You will enjoy working with Head Start. Never a dull day. Consistency, persistence and patience are the best advice I can give to working with the families as an advocate.
Cons
You will work in humble environments. These schools are not brand new or state of the art. You must be open to working with diverse population. Be open minded and remember to stay positive always.
