Pros

When I was there, the culture was pretty good! A few good mentors there. During my time, it was a low stress environment. The savings plan was very good! Decent PTO starting out.

Cons

The pay was very little in terms of salary, however, in sales you could make really good money if you work hard enough. With that being said, if the market is not doing well (like it was during the pandemic), then it is very hard to live off the salary. When I was there, there was no structured training. I think that has changed since I left. Small favoritism exists but it ultimately does not affect your bottom line too much. Advancement here is a waiting game and very flat.

Pros

Great folks working in an industry supporting the rights of Songwriters. Lots of opportunity to learn and work on interesting things.

Cons

Hybrid working model but that is pretty typical anywhere these days.

Pros

hybrid schedule, co-workers are friendly, summer fridays. laid back atmosphere.

Cons

management and senior HR leadership frequently stated that questions were encouraged, but in practice, asking for clarification was often met with a dismissive response, very low pay in comparison to other music publishing companies, and departments felt very siloed. High turnover.
