      Pros

      Working at the SEC provides great pay and benefits for the workload. Its government work, so generally the most you should expect to work is 45 hours, and compared with other agencies, leave can be rather flexible. Work life balance is great. The job is challenging and engaging.

      Cons

      Management does not like to communicate with its employees. Personnel changes, feedback, and basic workflow planning is a surprise to many employees. This is completely division dependent.

      Pros

      Things have changed under the current Republican administration, but the SEC has always been known as a great place to work with the highest salaries in the federal government and very family friendly

      Current share seems to actively hate his employees
