Pros

I would not advise taking a freelance position or a full time opportunity here. I agree with a previous comment. If you work here watch your overtime hours in the office environment. I also found processes and technology used for learning very out of date.

Cons

I did meet a couple people who were sincere, but overall it didn't seem like a business environment. The older people with seniority are still trying to run projects like they did 20 years ago. They are not open to fresh new ideas. Everything does have to be there way. I can only imagine how successful this company could be if they truly implemented critical thinking for innovation. But like always, I am sure they will take offense to this comment instead of positive feedback. I was told it was a full time position, only to find out I was mainly filling in for someone out on maternity leave. I am glad that the unemployment office was able to see through the unethical practices of this company. I do know that they wouldn't even let a human resource representative implement a simple employee handbook. What does that tell you? This is factual information. I am writing this review for people know up front what kind of company this is from a new employee perspective who has worked at other companies with fifteen years of business experience.

Pros

Everyone at the company was very kind and supportive. The projects I completed were well thought out the overall experience was greatly beneficial to my career.

Cons

The only thing I can think of that may be a con for some individuals is that it is a Christian institution, so it may not be the best fit for you if you would prefer to avoid that.
