      Nice environment. Interesting research. Many international students.

      Cons

      Difficult to get around ICT restrictions for software development. Recent trend to abandon research in several fields. Difficult to land a job there after finishing your PhD, but it might depend on your department. Association with Cordeel for renting the student dorms, studios, apartments and houses around. Cordeel has implemented predatory tactics that take advantage of workers and students and SCK has done nothing to stop them.
