Pros

Easy to get hired here

Cons

This company is unorganized, unprofessional, and management is inexperienced. Things that would be a simple fix to an experienced manager become difficult and convoluted. They also lord over your time if you are literally 1 minute late from lunch it becomes an ordeal

Pros

I have been working at SCH for a little under a year. I was offered a job as a leasing agent/assistant and within 10 months was promoted to property manager over 3 properties. SCH Realty believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. I had no experience and was terrified, but at every obstacle a member of management was there to offer assistance, and assurance. They have outstanding training procedures, provide you with a step by step handbook and training videos at your fingertips if you ever need them. SCH provides you with continuing education including but not limited to fair housing courses, social media classes, and sales courses. SCH is by far the most professional, and supportive place I have ever worked for. We get paid personal days, paid holidays, paid vacations, and proper holiday and overtime pay. You have endless opportunity to continue learning and growing within the company. They pay VERY generously, and surprise you regularly with gift cards and bonuses. they also buy lunch every friday! Also, when you're a full time employee, you are eligible for a portion of profit sharing as well as 30% off of your rent if you live at one of their beautiful properties. They are currently enrolling everyone for health insurance AND getting acquainted with our new property management software!!! I actually get excited to go to work everyday! I have met so many wonderful people this past year! I love my residents, I love all of my coworkers, and all of my managers. We host fun contests and community yardsales annually for our residents. We have conference calls and meetings regularly to ensure all staff are meeting the same goals. We have such a strong and close work environment at SCH, and I couldn't be more proud to be a part of such a wonderful team. Thank you, :)

Cons

We only work 8 hours a day :(

Pros

The properties are nice and fairly new

Cons

Owners are uninvolved and clueless as to what is going on with the day to day. No property management software, understaffed, unsupported. Employees are asked to break fair housing laws and lie to residents and prospects. This company is stuck in the past and refuses to change! Ideas are shot down without a second thought, residents are unhappy and no one seems to care (check out their property reviews). The bonuses are horrible compared to other companies and the pay isn't that great; they do not provide insurance or frankly ANY benefits at all. Many un-kept promises to employees and residents alike. The employee AND resident turn over is horrible, yet no one knows why? The company is unappreciative of its employees and the owners have no respect for those around them. If you do not wish to compromise on your integrity, look elsewhere!
