The pay is higher than some districts.
Cons
FOLKS - they literally meet to decide when to have meetings. Teachers do a lot outside of regular work hours. Join this club or support this organization or stay late until 7 PM for PTA. Make your own monthly newsletter to send to parents instead of using the one the school sends.. It’s just endless extra busy tasks. The district could make things easier on teachers by streamlining the work down to just teaching and student performance and behavior !!! That would be more than enough work.
