I am not a direct employee SCAN health plan , but work under the organization’s umbrella. My experience with a specific supervisor involved excessive micromanagement that created an unnecessarily stressful work environment (yes, even remotely)
This included frequent monitoring of team status throughout the day, repeated emails, texts even to my personal phone, close scrutiny of my work and performance , recurring unscheduled team calls lasting 30–60 minutes that were not placed on my calendar or accounted for in time tracking Communication often referenced potential HR involvement in a passive or indirect manner as a scare tactic.
The lack of clear boundaries, advance scheduling, and consistent communication expectations made it difficult to manage workload efficiently and negatively impacted work-life balance.
