Pros

No call, weekends or holidays. Clean facilities, new equipment, fast paced environment, variety of patients and cases.

Cons

Non stop turn over between clinical staff. Administration claims that they want to reduce the turn over, but doesn't hold true to their word. Administration quickly turns their back to the clinical staff that is working under a lot of pressure. When it gets incredibly busy, the leadership team (who are also nurses) is often no where to be found. Leadership meetings are scheduled during the times that clinical staff needs lunch coverage or it is extremely busy. The hours are unpredictable. Although they have came a long way in attempt to make self-scheduling for the staff for their days, you are still waiting until the afternoon before your shift before knowing what time you start the next day. You maybe working 7am-9pm some days, and only 9am-2pm the next day. Challenging for people who are relying on that 40 hour work week pay check. Some of the staff members are very hostile towards each other and it makes the environment challenging to work in.
