Pros

Mostly kind, smart and hardworking employees (that have quickly come and gone.) Decent pay and benefits. Global company with interesting projects/initiatives.

Cons

GCACS (PA/sustainability/community) is a great place to work if you like emotional abuse, no semblance of work-life balance, no autonomy as an employee, and no abilities to make decisions about your own career. Unquestioned loyalty is demanded, although none is given in return. Innocuous information is guarded tightly then you’re berated for not knowing what you should. After years of knowing that the department head (one of the public faces of the company) has been verbally abusing her subordinates, the HR department informed department employees that she’s been told to work on this “issue.” Incessant abuse in the workplace isn’t an “issue” where execs should be given a hall pass. This stunt further demonstrates to past and current GCACS employees what’s really important to the company, the continued employment of the SVP above all else. The department is a sinking ship, run by a person whom few respect or trust.

Pros

You will not be bothered by people talking to you, benefits seem okay.

Cons

Don’t expect to be trained on anything. Management will expect you to figure things out on your own, request your own accesses and figure out what you need without any guidance. They’ll send people to you for questions on how to do stuff within your first couple days, not having taught you how to do those things.
