Pros

Very little micromanaging Trusting environment Exceptionally intelligent and diversified staff Passionate owner Never feels like "Office Space"

Cons

New, therefore undefined long term growth, direction goals Extremely specialized - if you're not passionate about working with/helping HOAs, not the place for you Underleveraged in terms of services- even though construction defect litigation dept always seems busy, variety of talents should be exploited more Very poor training - most likely b/c new and inexperienced in facilitating growth and employee retention

Pros

Company provides snacks so that you won't go out for lunch and will work longer hours. This is handy if you don't have a Sam's Club membership of your own. SBSA was recently acquired. Hopefully the new company will be able to turn things around. But it will be a huge undertaking for them.

Cons

There is a real love of incompetence that starts at the top. Senior VPs do no actual work but falsely and aggressively point fingers at others. If they spent as much time managing projects or doing real work as they do causing headaches for HR SBSA would be a different company. Bad morale on a daily basis because of how angry and insulting executive management is. It spreads like wildfire. Technology used at the company is outdated. Nepotism is also very outdated, very rampant and contributes to many of the problems. Career growth is nonexistent.
