Pros

At first this job seemed like a dream scenario. I really enjoy the work and enjoy traveling around at my leisure. This was supposed to be a full time position. 8 months into the year I get a call from my boss that there has been a Temporary hour reduction. From 40 to 18. I was in good spirits and understanding at first, but it has now been nearly 2 months of this. All of my information online says I am still a full time employee. I have my benefits and am accruing time. When I ask my supervisor about an update, she just says when she knows, she will let me know. And that’s the end of the discussion. Ummm ok? This has affected the whole team, not just myself. I do not want to leave but I also do not know what is going on. It really has completely soured me on the previously good 8 months.

Cons

Hour reduction Poor communication Sales pressure

Pros

You get weekends and holidays off

Cons

-They want you to work full time hours, but won't give you fulltime status. -No health benefits. They give you access to a marketplace which is VERY expensive. -They intentionally schedule you on days you are unavailable to try to weed out anyone without full availability. -They will intentionally give you less hours if they are trying to get rid of you for any reason. -HR will never get back to you. All of the employees dread having to reach out because it is a dead end. -They are inconsistent when it comes to standards. Some teams are held to an incredibly high standard, while other teams get away with subpar work and poor attendance/punctuality. -Constantly having to reach out over and over about the same issues with only promises of help. -They marked me as terminated for "violating company policy", despite never doing so. I have a 2 weeks notice and fulfilled it, so I left on my own terms. I have reached out regarding this and have not heard back from any of my managers or HR. This is illegal and I have not been able to get ahold of anyone. They are doing sneaky things behind the scenes to benefit themselves.
