Pros

You can get a lot of work, as they have difficulty finding good people. So, if you are a particularly hard worker and you are reliable, you can work a lot; and, you usually get Fridays and weekends off, as it is mostly a Monday-Thursday position. It starts early morning so you can be home before traffic and while the sun is still shining. The work is indoors in climate control. You don't need to wear a shirt and tie or other formal uniform, just a company polo, dark pants and shoes. You can get medical benefits after working for a certain period of time.

Cons

First of all, let's face it. In this area of the country, 15 bucks an hour is not going to support anyone...unless you are living in a boarding house and sharing a bedroom with someone else. But, hey, you agree to the work for the wage given or you go someplace else, right? Some money is better than no money. Well, this place is exactly what all of the negative reviews are claiming and a whole lot more. First, the Team Leaders only make a dollar more per hour than their underlings. Some are particularly nice people...fabulous people. However, the ones who are rotten make certain that good people leave the job much sooner than later. And, it's just not worth it. For example, one of the women Team Leaders plays favorites. From her behavior, she has a particular disdain for men in general. Personality clash, right? Wrong . She yells at people in the middle of the retail stores, and in front of other workers and the client's employees. Plus, you REALLY don't want to work next to her because she smells....literally. Come on. Take a shower, please. But, hey, she shows up and you really aren't going to find great managers for $16 per hour so SAS keeps her. The job is rearranging the items on the shelves of various stores like Walgreens, Walmart and Jewel. However, the Jewel people seem to REALLY hate us because they are Union employees and we are getting paid the same amount or even a little more than they do as non-Union employees. I guess that makes us sell-outs or even the enemy. Anywho, in my experience, management at Jewel is uncooperative to say the least, which makes the overall work situation even worse. And, of course, you are working in an environment with filthy, co-ed bathrooms. But, know this. You are going to work your butt off physically. Good luck in getting your breaks. You will be sitting on the floor, kneeling down, standing on step ladders, and moving and hauling hundreds of items per shift. And, you have the benefit of knowing that if you got stuck with one of the lousy Team Leaders, you are going to get screamed at for allegedly not doing your job and with no investigation whatsoever. For $15 per hour, take a day shift at McDonald's. Their appears to be no upward mobility with this position; and, if there are bonuses or additional monetary incentives - not referring to medical benefits - I am aware of none of them. There are plenty of other jobs out there that pay more money without physically taxing the body and having to deal with a couple of first rate a-holes. It's too bad a couple of bad apples can literally spoil the whole bunch. But, hey, what do I know anyway.

Pros

Weekends off, you can take off anytime you want. You just need to let them know before the schedule is made.

Cons

Don't use the open door policy or contact h.r. They will retaliate and schedule you off more then the other members on the team. Give you easy projects so you only get 5 hours or less a day. I guess they don't know that you can pull up your tax information to prove how much your hours have been cut. Seniority means nothing. The schedule usually comes out just a few days before the new wave. Your email will be filled with diversity and inclusion emails.
