      Pros

      working on the great ad-hoc projects to apply the cut-edge technology for the commercialization. Work-life balance. Open-door policy and relative flat-reporting structure so that your work is visible. Great cafeteria benefits. order the tasty and balanced lunch daily from local restaurants and catering providers. Work-life balance and have two/three company holidays to observe Chinese culture (which are the great day-offs to avoid general holiday traffic )

      Cons

      Due to its rapid growth in the past couple years, there are some new employees who don't fit the company culture which jeopardized the positive working environment and team spirits.

      There are plenty of opportunities as a software engineer. This is my first job and I have learnt quite a bit from the experienced team members. I have been contributing to multiple projects in the autonomous driving team, and have found team members to be friendly and collaborative. Snacks, drinks and lunch Periodic team building activities Standard benefits like health, vision, 401k Good work life balance Flexible timings

      Relevant projects on par with the sector

      Cons

      Cultural barriers make it extremely difficult for Westerners to settle in and find camaraderie within the greater Chinese team. Being one of what felt like only a few English speakers made working together difficult. The leadership is not very perceptive to new ideas which makes things an up hill battle if you want to try something new or collaborate. Borderline/questionable unprofessional attitudes make it difficult to enjoy working here. Lastly, it was unclear what the overall office's goal is.
