You don't get arrested for not serving your NS liability. Time to think, reflect and grow before you embark on further studies.
Cons
As an officer, you get good pay, more control but also more responsibility and higher chance of confinement... As sergeant... you get shot from the top and complaints from below. As a man, you get shitty pay and get flamed for pretty much everything.
