Pros
Overall good company. Doesn't have a "corporate" type culture. Most upper management are approachable and seem to be nice people. People tend to just be themselves.
Cons
There has been an effort the last several years to be more profit driven. This has resulted in some lower management tending to treat employee's like "a number" and not like people. Advancement in the company seems to be based solely on if your a good politician and how much money you bring in. While developing relationships and bringing in money is important, in some instances quality of work and engineering competence doesn't seem to be a consideration in considering individuals for promotion and there doesn't seem to be an emphasis on it. Lower management within the construction services division doesn't seem to be very organized. Individuals who talk a good game but produce low quality work seem to be the ones who get promoted into management.
