Pros

High profile projects to work on

Cons

I watched younger, less experienced guys get promoted over me. An unlicensed male designer got hired as a Senior Associate while female employees who had their architecture license for a decade still had to fight to become Associate.

Pros

- Strong emphasis on design excellence and sustainability - Collaborative studio culture—very open to new ideas from all levels - Leadership is approachable and genuinely supportive of professional growth - Beautiful office space with good work-life balance (most of the time) - Good mentorship opportunities and exposure to high-profile institutional projects

Cons

- Like many architecture firms, deadlines can sometimes create bursts of overtime - Compensation is decent but could be more competitive, especially for junior staff - Some studio processes could be more streamlined—too many internal meetings at times - Limited presence outside the Pacific Northwest
