Pros

The day I was able to give my resignation

Cons

Expect to work 24/7. Days off do not matter. I was called on one of my days off to be asked why I did not read my email that was sent to me on my other day off. Forget about taking a vacation either because the phone will still ring and you will still be expected to answer emails. There was no room for growth in my role, even though I was told that during the interview process and all of my reviews were grade "Strong". I would not have left the company that I was at for 12 years (taking a pay cut mind you) if I had known that I would be stuck in my role. I applied for over 10 internal positions in more than 2 years and was never considered for any of them. I guess I did not know the "Right" people. Also be prepared to have things brought up that you did 6 to 12 months in the past as "Concerns" even though they are not voiced at the time nor mentioned when you are given your review. You are expected to be married to your job and have no life. It's work to live, not live to work.

Pros

Pay was better than most places at the beginning.

Cons

Upper management has zero clue how to connect with the employees at the shop level. Over-delegation with zero accountability. Problems aren’t actually solved, they’re just redirected in a way that creates more stress and issues for both employees and customers.
