Terrible Management, Unfair Treatment, and HR at the TMC Ft. Worth is a joke. - Anonymous employee Ryder System Employee Review

Pros

Company events (used) to be a lot of fun. As of late, everyone is too busy to attend and enjoy most of them. You get to wear jeans daily - relaxed dress code. If you get under the right management at the right time, you could gain valuable experience but by then you'll be ready to get out of there.

Cons

Huge gap of communication between entry level employees, middle management, and upper management. HR allows corrupt, bullying managers with multiple compaints filed against them to continue working and would rather let the employees expressing concern in good faith go than address the issue. Company morale is down significantly. No one want to be there and the energy is tense and negative. The wrong people consistently get promoted due to favoritism and the hard working employees deserving of promotions are kept in lower level roles in order to get more work out of them for less. Management is like high school and extremely immature and irresponsible in their decision making. Many promises are made by directors and management that are not kept. You cannot trust anyone at this company.

Pros

You get to work on real supply chain problems that actually matter to operations, not just theoretical stuff. Remote flexibility is solid and the work-life balance is fair. The tech stack is modern (Snowflake, Azure, Power BI) and if you're someone who takes initiative, you'll get the chance to own things end-to-end. The people you work with day-to-day are genuinely good and most teams have a collaborative culture.

Cons

Growth from senior level and beyond can be painfully slow even when you're clearly doing the work above your role. Leadership and org changes happen often which resets your visibility and momentum with whoever is advocating for you. Some areas still lack clear ownership so things fall through the cracks or land on whoever is willing to pick them up. Pay doesn't always reflect the scope of what you're actually doing.
