Pros
Nice people, union, full benefits
Cons
Unrealistic expectations of drivers. Drivers also expected to falsify pre-trip inspection sheet by not given adequate time to complete full inspection. Road Supervisors (who were promoted from Drivers) continue what they learn (expected to do) as they falsify training documents, such as Behind The Wheel (BTW) hours. This is a top-down issue as Owners & Upper Management set these unrealistic expectations of their staff. I had to resign in only the 3rd week of training due to overall pressure and unwillingness to lie and falsify documents. I was unable to report this to the union (ATU Local 192) because I was still waiting for the union to call me back to officially join. Therefore, I do not recommend working for this private, for-profit company.
