Pros
Ryan markets its work environment during recruiting as an incredibly inclusive, positive, and flexible. All of these things are true. The flexibility of work location (WFH vs. In office vs. Hybrid) is great. In my specific area, I am allowed to WFH or in office. The technology sector of the company is exciting and growing quickly. Our software platforms are built in-house and offer exciting challenges in modernization and improvement.
Cons
Probably a common issue elsewhere: politics/feelings occasionally getting in the way of software progress. In addition, getting approval for access to things such as certain databases is a lengthy process due to the sensitive nature of the data that we work with.
