It was close to home

There were instances of inappropriate conduct within team-lead that created an uncomfortable work environment. Concerns were raised through proper internal channels, but they were not addressed in a meaningful way, which undermined trust in HR, legal, and senior management. Additionally, hiring practices at times appeared to favor personal relationships over qualifications and experience with team-leadership, raising concerns about fairness, merit-based advancement, and organizational ethics. The lack of accountability and transparency made it difficult to feel supported or protected in the workplace.
