Pros
A very respectable institution which is at the forefront of economic development in the post Genocide Rwanda. Vibrant young workforce ready to attract new investors to Rwanda and to create a very conducive working environment for investors. Easing Doing Business!
Cons
It is still very much a Budget Agency, implying that 95% funding is derived from the central Government. The internally generated revenues are still quite low and would not warrant Rwanda Development Board as a fully independent and autonomous institution - hence a negative impact in terms of remuneration and retention of very good staff
