Pros
Staffing is very lean which means that there is low risk of being let go. The benefits are excellent... match on 403(a/b) of more than $1:$1, inexpensive health benefits.
Cons
Low salary and virtually no way to be rewarded outside of very strict (and small) merit increase pools allocated to the units. Terrible financial systems results in a lot of low-value, manual work to produce simple reporting.
