-Functional Management -Lots of Learning Opportunities -Great training program (better than most insurance agencies in the entire WNY area) -Helpful supervisors -Modern technology and computerized -Great HR functions--you get a yearly review and merit raise. -Very professional, but down to earth. More professional and better management than 90% of insurance agencies in the WNY area.

-Limited advancement if you are in brokerage section -Some supervisors are patronizing and unhelpful with questions. -Considerable turnover -Licensed in many states, so there are lots of state-specific rules you must go by when processing.

There are very few positives. The BIGGEST positive is the people I work with are great and it's close to home. .I do like the work I do and keep hoping for better things to come.

Management has no clue what its employee even do on a day to day basis. There is favoritism clearly shown to certain employees. There is no room for advancement - unless you are one of the select few noted above. AND it helps if you are a male. Russell Bond has had 9 employees leave since the beginning of the year. WHY??? Because people are unhappy and are finding better opportunities elsewhere. The benefits get worse every year and the pay is much less than what other insurance whole sales or agents pay.
