The people are wonderful! Overall there is a high standard of development at Rufus with good mid level management and delivery teams, Contractors like me are treated well and like perm employees, Lovely offices and environment, Fairly interesting but easy work, Treat clients well and honestly, Good work life balance. Overall Rufus is a comfortable place to work, generally a good place if you need a break
Cons
Management and development at middle level is very good, but upper management across the board are incompetent, top heavy and spend their lives in an echo chamber, very rarely understand anything and are a huge annoyance. its an old boys club, there are some seriously thick people at the top who keep their jobs because they have been there for years. People tend to disappear at Rufus... They are very reactive, and if anything goes wrong people tend to be fired and no one ever discusses it. You have no job security. They promise a lot of support and benefits, but they do not follow through with these. Set your salary early, don't expect it to change. Don't expect a challenge.
