Pros

Rubica has been the most pleasant work experience I've had. 1) Great company culture. The leadership is thoughtful in the way employees are taken care of. They recognize that taking care of employees goes a long way in keeping employees and in the end makes us better workers. 2) Rubica is a startup company, and the challenge of working at a startup is rewarding. Because we are a smaller team, you must be willing to wear multiple hats and work outside of your job description when needed, but this means that there's opportunity to learn more than you would at other places. The skills you gain from this kind of environment are hard to find and will help you become a jack of all trades and beef up your resume. 3) We have a revolutionary product that is seeking to help protect people. Who wouldn't want to be a part of that? 4) For a startup, I'd say the compensation is competitive and more importantly the room for growth can be big. 5) We have snacks, lunch and go out for team bonding activities :)

Cons

The temptation that's easy to fall into at a place like this is to overwork yourself. There's always something to be done or improved at a startup, so finding a work-life balance may be tough if you're not disciplined enough to turn off.
