The whole job was convincing purchasers that you met them previously and had a “free gift” to bring them, then you’d pitch a product like “industrial cleaning solution” (which was just detergent and water), or “computer cleaning kits” which they wanted $200 for but you could make your own for like $20, and we were required to harass them until they gave you a PO#, and you’d ship them an indeterminate amount of product and bill them:
